Ses thèmes de travail sont les suivants :

Les axes de recherche développés sont centrés sur la définition des charges de travail dans le domaine aérobie où la fréquence gestuelle peut avoir une influence. Les effets des fréquences imposées, préférées ou spontanées sont étudiés en relation avec l’augmentation des paramètres maximaux, la diminution des coûts énergétiques, l’optimisation des coordinations et des performances. L’évaluation des aptitudes aérobies (notion de seuils, de puissance critique, de puissance maximale d’état stable de la lactatémie et de puissance maximale aérobie) est mise en relation avec les programmes d’entraînement et les formes d’exercices en continu ou en intermittent. Les domaines d’applications sont ceux de l’entraînement, de la rééducation et de l’évaluation, l’amélioration de la performance et du rendement lors d’activités cycliques et plus particulièrement dans les activités aquatiques.
